Navara Over NP200

Nissan offers two standout pickups: the Navara and the NP200. While both are reliable, the Navara outshines the NP200 in several key areas, making it the superior choice for work and play.

Rugged Redefined

New Nissan Navara

The new locally-produced Nissan Navara has upped the ante in ruggedness, style, safety, comfort and driving pleasure while remaining true to its heritage of durability, reliability, versatility, and fuel efficiency.

Navara: Power Redefined

Step up from the NP200 and experience the unmatched strength and versatility of the Nissan Navara. Built for those who demand more, the Navara offers superior power, increased towing capacity, and advanced technology to take on any challenge. Whether it’s for work or play, its bold design, rugged durability, and premium comfort set it apart. Choose the Navara for a driving experience that goes beyond the ordinary—because settling for less is not an option.

1. More Power and Performance

The Nissan Navara offers powerful engine options like the 2.3L turbo-diesel and 2.5L petrol, providing superior towing, load-bearing, and off-road abilities. In comparison, the NP200 has smaller engine choices and limited towing and payload capacity, making it more suited for lighter, urban use.

2. Better Towing Capacity and Load Bed Utility

The Nissan Navara excels in both towing and load capacity, able to tow up to 3,500 kg and handle heavier loads with its larger, more versatile load bed. It offers a range of features like cargo tie-down points and an optional roller shutter for added security. The NP200, with a towing capacity of just 650 kg and a smaller cargo bed, is better suited for lighter loads and urban use.

3. Superior Off-Road Capability

The Nissan Navara, with its advanced 4x4 system, robust suspension, and high ground clearance, excels in tough off-road conditions. In contrast, the NP200 is front-wheel drive, suited for urban and light off-roading, not rugged terrains.

4. Safety Features

The Nissan Navara offers advanced safety features like Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Departure Warning, while the NP200 has basic features like airbags and ABS but lacks the Navara’s driver-assistance systems.

5. Comfort and Features

The Nissan Navara offers a spacious cabin with seating for five, dual-zone climate control, and premium features, ensuring a smooth, comfortable ride. In contrast, the NP200 is more basic, with fewer tech features and a smaller, less comfortable cabin.
